It's tall which may get in the way of your dead bolt

I also used the dead bolt cover sold separately and made the install very clean and professional.

It is common that dead bolt is 7” from the latch lock

YES even if there is no dead bolt, it is very secure

but I had to remove top dead bolt lock

it's so large it covered my dead bolt.

The install of the lock is very straight-forward and easy, all though I did have to order the extra security plate due to having a dead-bolt on the door
