In warmer weather, it seems to pick it up on the third try or so, but I live in Wisconsin, and right now, it won't work at all, and I don't want to sit outside trying until it does.

The product would be better if the fingerprint reader worked in cold weather

The reason for 4 starts: Fingerprints are a little hard to read in cold weather, and we needed to replace the lock, but Ultraloq took care of the return, and we were able to transfer the data to the new lock from the cloud!

would be nice if it would recognize that I've touched it with gloves on, since I'm in a cold weather climate, but it works as advertised and is a very high quality latch and lock.

We'll stick with it for now... definitely enjoy opening the door by fingerprint only, but only time will tell how it holds up in colder weather, or after some use (we've been using it a couple solid weeks now)

we are very pleased with this lock, it is in a place where it get very heavy use and it still looks and works as well as it did the day I installed it, I would definitely recommend this lock to friends and family.

I’m not sure of the reasoning why, but it really doesn’t bother me too much as we always can get in somehow quickly and simply and haven’t had to use the key once
