Sound stage is very nice would definitly recommend an amp to get full sound quality because ipod and laptop are not enough.

While the Pro 750 don't require a headphone amp to run, I would recommend a good quality amp like the Fiio E11 if you are going mobile with an iPod or smartphone being your music player

With a weak amp or connected to electronics with unemphasized bass (like most pro audio gear), it is acceptable, but not with many consumer audiophile electronics with boosted bass themselves
