    • With high-quality source material and a decent amp, you will be astounded at how good these headphones can sound
    • It gets richer and full with an amplifier, but it doesn't take much, a wee portable or basic desktop amp will do it
    • I'd imaging you'd be able to fir extra wires, adapters, your mp3 player, and a portable headphone amp
    • You really need a good headphone amp for use with these headphones to get the full dynamic range from them.
    • but I would still recommend an amp.
    • Sound stage is very nice would definitly recommend an amp to get full sound quality because ipod and laptop are not enough.
    • While the Pro 750 don't require a headphone amp to run, I would recommend a good quality amp like the Fiio E11 if you are going mobile with an iPod or smartphone being your music player
    • There's a guy that sells some nice burr-brown portable amps from his ebay store that are inexpensive and work well with these cans
    • With a weak amp or connected to electronics with unemphasized bass (like most pro audio gear), it is acceptable, but not with many consumer audiophile electronics with boosted bass themselves
    • You can really crank them up with a good amp and they sound great never harsh or grainy
    • I've used these at home with a good amp and on bussiness trips, I don't think they were made for everyday commuting?
    • They CAN run from a computer or phone, but the difference with a proper amp is remarkable; everything comes to life
    • With some proper amp/dac and good quality songs, this headphone will redefine music itself
    • I listen to mostly trap, and some other types of EDM and with a proper amp, these things really come to life
    • An amp is recommended to get the true soundstage from these bad boys but they still work without one
    • Good analytical detail and good soundstage regardless of source and amp thanks to high efficiency drivers, and excels at ambient detail/echo in proportion to better source and amp
    • I loved my Beats as it's super comfortable on my ears, noise isolation despite not being advertised for it, and the sound signature
    • Over time as they've gotten burned in, they have lost that edge a bit
