    • However, on repeated hearing--especially in jazz, I like the firm, strong bass.
    • R&B is really groovy, dance sounds great as the bass and beats are just enough
    • I don't need to emphasize how insanely awesome the bass is, because other reviews do that
    • Summing it up, the bass the Pro 900 puts out is simply the best bass I've ever heard from a headphone
    • These definitely favor bass and treble clarity.
    • If you have a pair of headphones and you are satisfied, that's perfectly fine, but when you step into the realm of high end headphones, all the low and mid end ones you had before will sound like tin cans or sloppy bass cannons
    • For all the amazing things I hear about these headphone's bass, their bass seemed quite weak to me (with a M&M stack), also VERY uncomfortable as the pads are designed to be worn by an alien who has circular ears.
    • They provide a sound that is clear and crisp with great bass, outstanding highs, and good mids
    • On the other hand, the ridiculous bass is also extremely conducive to hearing recording flaws, any static noise will sound like the tip of your ears vibrating or being stabbed
    • These headphones are great in terms of bass kick, comfort, build quality, and sound stage and highs
    • As mentioned in many previous comments and reviews, the bass is amazing, and everything else is well defined
    • I settled on the Denon D7000s and while they still have great bass, the mids and highs are also great
    • They look fantastic; something you could wear and not have people staring at you (check out ath-a700)Cons:occasional Slightly flubby bass in certain tracks when unampedthe straight cable is SHORT
    • they have a much muddier bass, and don't seam to have as decent of a midrage as well
    • HOWEVER, Like other people says, i just burned in this headphone for more than 100 hours and connected it to AMP(fiio e12 for stronger and better bass)
    • Want high quality, sleek, sexy headphones that have monstrous bass quality and quantity while being able to swivel the cups for potability that are very comfortable with detachable cables
    • Great treble, fantastic bass
    • I did feel like the Beyer 990s had a little more bass, but as far as how clean the bass was the Ultrasone definitely
    • But no worries, the bass is just so satisfying you tend to forget about any shortcomings in the midrange
    • The bass is a little stronger than the
    • (I would advise that you don't buy these if you think the bass is going to blow away the Sony XB series or even the Denons, because it wont, but its good quality bass and its definitely
    • I am very tempted to give this 4 stars because Pro 900 of all Ultrasones has the most boosted bass, and to make it worse the thin stock cable makes the bass somewhat anemic or choked off, would be preferable if it wasn't so sensitive in the lows
    • The bass is still very strong, but not overpowering.

    • The bass is sometimes so strong that it can be overpowering.
    • But no worries, the bass is just so satisfying you tend to forget about any shortcomings in the midrange
    • It has an incredibly versatile sound, with excellent dynamics, and of course its signature legendary bass; which just has to be heard to be believed and even understood
    • :) the first 2, bass is great...mids lacking depth
    • However a pair of BOSE noise canceling headphones has richer bass and sound at lower volumes
    • I recommend this to everyone, but mostly to people who listen to electronic music as the bass is punchy, powerful but does not overpower the song.
    • The highs are really crisp and clear and the bass kicks deep & punches hard
    • These are simply the best sounding "bass-head" headphones I've ever heard
    • Bullets and explosions fly around your head, you can identify locations footsteps in any direction and you can hear the "sub bass" effects that are in movies but not easily heard on speakers or regular headphones as it bleeds in, where as the sub bass on these separates itself from the group and makes itself known
    • I am very happy with these headphones, since I appreciate accuracy and clean bass
    • The bass is definitely outrageous and the highs are kinda bright
    • For all the amazing things I hear about these headphone's bass, their bass seemed quite weak to me (with a M&M stack), also VERY uncomfortable as the pads are designed to be worn by an alien who has circular ears.
    • One of the reasons this headphone produces so much bass and such a big soundstage is its high impedance - you don.t get something for nothing
    • I am sorry to say that these `phones are still lacking in various essential respects: the treble is extended now, but mostly fragile and brittle, the upper midrange is relatively best represented, the lower midrange (celli, woodwinds, percussion) is muffled, mid-bass is still not pronounced and unfocused, deep bass missing
    • I bought these as recommended on audiophile forums as being great for gaming for their large soundstage, good bass, and mids
    • The bass is critical
    • Bass is prominent but not boomy or overwhelming
    • You still get great bass sound with a nice, clear mid-range and treble
    • Bass is excellent and after burn in everything sounds great to my ears, and that is allthat matters
    • They have a good punchy bass and have the deepest bass, yet it doesn't impose it on the other frequencies
    • Bass is powerful, but not excessive
    • Where the beats are "muddy" sounding with bass bleeding into the low mids and generally dominating the mix, the 900's keep the bass right where it should be.
    • most other reviews noted, the bass is outstanding
    • Great quality sound all around, superb bass.
    • PRO 900 S can distinguish very detailed sounds,Bass is superb as good as the MF and HF,I highly recommend PRO 900 S for You will not be disappointed with the sound
    • Compared to my AD700's, the bass on these things is absolutely amazing
    • These headphones have bass but overpowering as I said
    • are crystal clear and natural, and the bass is good and deep but not overwhelming.
    • Vocals are much more realistic, the bass is present at a perfect level, and the highs are crisper and clearer.
    • I remember my quest for outstanding bass began long ago
    • The AKGs and Beyerdynamics have a similar profile, but not nearly as distinct - bass is a bit more muddy on those compared to the Pro 750 to me
    • For almost as good bass but better over all frequency response, I would recommend you look into these two Denons as an
    • Bass is definitely not emphasized like you'll find in Beats and Skullcandy, and I have definitely fallen in love with how real and raw my music sounds with these
    • I loved my Beats as it's super comfortable on my ears, noise isolation despite not being advertised for it, and the sound signature
    • Over time as they've gotten burned in, they have lost that edge a bit
    • PRO 900 S can distinguish very detailed sounds,Bass is superb as good as the MF and HF,I highly recommend PRO 900 S for You will not be disappointed with the sound
    • That was quite unexpected! There has been quite a ruckus about the simulated surround sound called 'S-Logic' on these headphones
