My god, these are the first headphones I have listened to with such amazing vertical sound stage

With my previous AD700's (which are known for their amazing sound stage) the horizontal sound stage was definitely wider than the Pro 550's (but they are open headphones) but their vertical sound stage wasn't so great

You get a good sound stage with a real sense of separation of instruments and/or vocals.

Sound stage is very nice would definitly recommend an amp to get full sound quality because ipod and laptop are not enough.

Lastly the sound stage is awesome, very wide for closed cans

They do have an amazing sound stage and you can easily distinguish between all different instruments being played
