This radio is really pretty nice, the size is perfect for small areas, the functions are great, the weather alert system is perfect for travel, features are super easy to figure out, the digital display with the capability to change colors is Awesome

The display though is really what makes this CB, i was really amazed at how great it looks - it is extremely easy to read, and has thoughtful features like a dedicated night button which can be programmed to switch to any of the display colors you prefer for night/day, adjustable talkback, and mic gain right on the front

Viewing the output on my scope and spectrum analyzer revealed a very clean signal on both AM and SSB.The radio has some very useful features such as weather alert and the ability to scan all 40 CB channels

To get a better featured radio you will have to make the jump from CB to a licenced Ham radio.

This radio is also nice for everyone used to the size of the "big" radios as this one has the same great features and is sightly smaller and fits much better into smaller spaces

Channel scan for CB channels is another great feature as many shippers and consignees monitor and alert drivers of door assignments, load progress I can listen to channel 19 and still receive their call when my load is ready.5
