It makes it easier to adjust the tv by unlocking the bottoms and easy to get behind the tv and then relocking and securing your tv into place.

The instructions tell you to level the mount, but in doing so your tv will be crooked

It is sturdy and safe but the TV so close to the wall that I couldn't reach the ports on the back without taking the TV down.
