UtechSmart Venus 16400 DPI High Precision Laser MMO Gaming Mouse

    • The driver was a bit difficult to find on the companies website, but once it was installed it was fairly straight forward to set up.
    • Pretty solid mouse, id consider something a bit more expensive though
    • side buttons are a bit hard to press
    • The keys on the side seem a bit tough to press but that's not so much a complaint just something to note
    • It has a very unique texture that threw me off after being used to the smooth naga, but I’ve grown to like it quite a bit
    • Some of the side buttons feel a bit stiff and hard to press, when pressed they don't have a very good click feeling2
    • Though when I have spent $100 the thumb buttons were a bit easier to "mash".
    • This mouse has a HUGE advantage over the new Razer, and a bit of an advantage over the old one.
    • The mouse was plug and play for me and the software was small and after a little bit of messing around is very easy to use.
    • With about a day of use, either I got used to it, or they broke in a bit
    • Software is a bit slow, not really user friendly and the macro feature is terrible.
    • I would like to give this 5 stars but unfortunately it seems to be faulting a bit now and it hasn't been long
    • I also think the side buttons are a bit too hard to press causing me to move my mouse when I click sometimes which can be undesirable
    • The thumb buttons were oily and slick -- the tiniest bit of oil off my thumb made it nearly impossible to grip
    • First of all it has five profiles that are a bit odd to jump through, and can be mistakenly changed from the buttons
    • Was using the mouse on uneven surface and laser lost contact, was less than a credit cardalso side buttons are a bit hard to define which is being pushed
    • Previously used a Naga and this is every bit as good as my original
    • I set the "rapid fire" button next to Mouse 1 to Ctrl instead, which at least makes some hotkeys a bit easier and efficient
    • Cons:- the 10 - 12 buttons are a bit of a stretch for me and my small
    • Led on the symbol a bit off on a few color but besides that no complaints really.
    • And I was a bit skeptical on this one because of how cheap it was
    • (If I am able to fix this issue, I will change my review to five stars!)The buttons on the side panel are, as another reviewer mentioned, a bit hard to press
    • It was a bit difficult to find any contact information on the UtechSmart website (and all I did find was an email address) but I was pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service I received in response
    • I would also like to say that while playing FPS games vs. MMO games, personally I tend to hold the mouse differently for those kinds of games, and it is a bit hard for me to get used to this mouse for FPS
    • The scroll wheel was a bit stiff to click in out of the box, which almost caused me to rate 4 stars but it has freed up a bit by the end of the day.

    • The only thing I dont like is that 11 & 12 are a bit hard to press when it matters because my thumb isn't comfortable moving back that far - to over come
    • a bit more limited than i was expecting for being programable, but i was also expecting the buttons to be or have an option of being extra keys and not just ones linked to a normal keyboard
    • After having it for 3 years, I do have to say that it’s starting to lag a bit
    • took me a little bit of time to get used to using the side keys in games, but i miss them if i don't have them now, its just so nice to havestill working great, no complaints other than i wish i could mix and match colors more on different part of mouse, but its not a big deal
    • Works well, though the bit with the weights inside is a little daunting
    • Build quality I would say was comparable to other devices that are twice the cost but the ergonomics and operation when moving across the scren didnt seem to be as accurate and smooth as I like.
    • ok this might be the only thing that is new and might be causing a issue and as soon as i replaced it with my other one i no longer had any issues with my PC at
    • After I programmed it, everything continued to work on my iMac perfectly as I programmed it in Windows after the VM was shut down
    • I️ would definitely recommend I️.
    • I love this mouse, I use it for all my pc gaming to reduce the amount of fumbling I have to do with the keyboard
    • n’t fit the curvature of the hand very well.
