Overall the music sounds rich and has a lot of depth.
-
The sound does not seem to leak out either like my music stays with me
-
Sony has noise cancelling that does not suck, i.e drowns out most noise and does not wreck the music in the process
-
They are around the same price point :(The sound quality on these headphones are amazing, they do an excellent job of providing crisp and clear music, and drowning out the outside noises due to their construction.
-
Music is clear and sounds very good.
-
For more delicate music like classic, jazz, and soundtracks the V-MODAs have a refined and pleasant sound.
-
So that I can go to sleep with them in and enjoy the music too.
-
Every now and then, though, I want to listen to music either at higher volume that is disruptive to others or I want to listen through headphones to enjoy the music with less of the environmental sounds in my home.
-
Keep in mind this problem is negligible if you crank the music up high enough, but I wouldn't recommend these to anyone who likes to listen to quieter music or at low volumes
-
Ultimately, if you listen mainly to popular music with lots of power
-
Music sounds just fine over Bluetooth through these headphones
-
I would recommend these to anyone, especially those who appreciate music and want to listen to it loud and clear.

I think these headphones are great for someone who wants to enjoy their music at their desk, using a wire and possibly a DAC/Amp combo, and also wants to listen to music on their commute (like on a bus), where this headphone’s passive isolation and assertive bass signature will be assets, and a less-than-optimal Bluetooth codec will be only a small concession in the name of convenience.
