    • Comfortable, Durable, and enough volume to cancel background noise.
    • Listening to your music in an environment with extra background noise (e.g. people chatting in the background, walking between classes at school, waiting for your flight at an airport, etc.)
    • I can't make out a conversation with loud background noise
    • For mobile listening, any complaints/nitpicks I had for the M-100 while home listening are remedied with the extra background noise
    • Unfortunately passive noise isolation of the headphone does not really Works, only when increasing the volume the background noise disappear

    • I think for loud places like planes and such, I will prefer my Bose because it does such a phenomenal job of reducing background noise
    • And while they do eliminate almost all background noise, I don't really find that too distracting to begin with
    • Boom-pro mic give a clear audio sound with next to no background noise
    • So the bass may have been too much for home listening, but with the extra background noise while mobile listening, the bass gets drowned out and it actually sounds very nicely balanced with the rest of the sound spectrum
    • The first song I played was "Mr. Rager" by Kid CuDi, a song I have listened to over 1000 times, with a wide range of volumes, background noise, and
    • Depending on the volume you will hear pretty much all of your music with no distraction or background noise whatsoever even on normal listening levels
    • Listening to your music in an environment with minimal background noise (e.g. quiet office cubicle, silent library room, a quiet bedroom,
    • Also, when listening to a high quality recording of The Dark Side of the Moon, you can hear the background noise from the analog recording throughout much of the album.
    • but they do not block out any background noise), and Philips Citiscape Uptown (uncomfortable for long term use and poor sound). It wasn't until I tried out the Bose AE2i and the
    • For music that has a constant background beat they are awesome and allow you to get the immersion that you get from less noisy environments, but for pieces that have very dynamic volumes and for movies I found the quiet scenes were having to compete with the background noise quite significantly.
    • When listening in a very loud car, the background noise drowned out the bass
    • Similar to the bass while mobile listening, the nitpicks I had for the midrange while home listening are somewhat remedied with the extra background noise
    • I would add that they are a touch bass-heavy if you are in a quiet environment, but this works to your advantage if you are out walking around or dealing with background noise
    • These headphones, in my opinion, they work best with hip hop or R&B, but that’s just my opinion
    • no giant "b" on the side is nice.- Very understated industrial design that doesn't seem to age at
    • I Listen to all sorts of music ranging from rock, metal to hip hop, r&b, jazz and country music and these headphones work fine with all of them
    • In comparison the V-MODAs are more comfortable, cleaner sounding, more bass without losing mids, more convenient fold up design, better looking ; no stupid b on the side
    • For me, I find this particular signature less ideal for strong vocal tracks but good for more modern R&B, Hip Hop, and Electronic genre
    • If you are overwhelmed by the choices of headphones available in the $300 price range, are looking for something to use at home as well as on the go and care about quality sound while also appreciating deep, powerful, tight bass, these are simply the best choice available.
    • These headphones add the right amount of tight, clear base that makes the music realistic and warm rather than flat and stark as in the Bose.
    • Now the headphones still work as if they were brand new.
    • They still work as perfectly as they did the day that I got them
    • (i.e. voices sounded nothing like a real life person in front of you, no way you could be confused as to whether a person was singing in front of you), and it was just unpleasant to my ears, period.3
    • They're made for quality as well as
    • If you don't spring for the $30 XL memory cushions, enjoy a highly uncomfortable (and sticky feeling) listening experience
    • yes they're great to use them on the plane in the car at home but not as a
    • I'm pretty sure that you can find headphones that sound as good as or better than these, the problem is that you would pay much more than these cost
    • I would also recommend purchasing directly from m-voda as there are cheaper generic Chinese cushions that apparently fit these
    • Also, for me, they didn't quite fit over the ear all the way, I feel like they should be sold as an on-ear headphone
    • If you listen to a lot of midrange-centric music (classical, folk, some types of pop, smooth jazz, etc.), the bass is really too distracting as it is very forward relative to the midrange and thus midrange-centric music just doesn't sound right
    • I would not however recommend these in white as they can get dirty rather quickly.
    • I have had several high end headphones and recently purchased the HD dj8 and as great as it was, it lacked that mesmerizing sound effect
    • Works well with the cell phone on occasion as well as on the PS4 through the DS4 3.5mm port which as usall requires no extra amplification
    • 5/5Obviously works amazingly well with the Steam library of games as well as when the PS3 is connected to the laptop's various assortment of input
    • I've also had some time to compare the M-100 to my other pair of V-MODA headphones, the V-80, as well as to other headphones I've managed to play with at various retailers in New York City such as the Apple Store and B&H Photo
    • I listen to a lot of music on the L system in Chicago traveling to and from work, as well as at the gym and at night before I go to sleep
    • If that wasn’t enough they also sell the shields in different textures, as well as in Steel and Precious Metal
    • Overall: These headphones have gone through the ringer of a college lifestyle for almost six months now and still look, sound and feel as great as the day I got them
    • Also included is an amazingly well thought out case that is as beautiful as it is utilitarian
    • I changed the earcup pads to the XL memory foam size and it was better, but not as good as for example the Sony or KEF in comfort level.
    • I just spent the last half hour reading a bunch of the one star reviews, and they all have an excellent response from the 'six star support' team as well as from the supporting community
    • I paid full price for a new item and received a used item twice, and while this headset may work as if it was brand new, I don't know the circumstances that led the previous owners to return
    • I Listen to all sorts of music ranging from rock, metal to hip hop, r&b, jazz and country music and these headphones work fine with all of them
    • For me, I find this particular signature less ideal for strong vocal tracks but good for more modern R&B, Hip Hop, and Electronic genre
    • Well, I sure hope the headphones are "dry", unless they fell in the bathtub ;o)
