    V-MODA Crossfade M-100 Over-Ear Noise-Isolating Metal Headphone (Phantom Chrome)

    • so it's a bit difficult to listen with one ear, though the headband is flexible
    • Yes it's not quite as flat as the M50s, and the open ear design of Sennheiser does provide a bit cleaner sound, but this pair makes listening a pleasure again
    • It sounds like it's opened up a bit more from that muffled sound
    • I decided to test the noise-isolation, and as I played something on the volume that I found a bit too loud, I let the headphones press into each other in 'off' position, with each earpiece forming a seal with the other
    • Although the sound does bleed quite a bit (meaning other people can hear your music) and they aren't as comfortable as Bose QuietComfort, they are top-notch everywhere else.
    • Although I wish they would offer options that were a bit more affordable for the average Joe
    • (But for my personal taste, and the majority of my preferred genre of regular listening, EQ is necessary to tame down the bass some, bring up the mids, and smooth the highs just a bit
    • Only issue is sometimes they feel a little bit uncomfortable after very long uses, but other than that, very pleased with these outstanding headphones!
    • The noise isolation is effective and they do block out a good bit of sound and would be great for road trips/ plane rides
    • Overall comfort was a bit of an issue at first, but as others have noted the comfort will come with time
    • Because of the design on the external part, they do leak a bit of sound, so just watch the volume level when traveling next to other people, but the volume level and seal are pretty good
    • The highs and mids are a bit more clear and legible with a better sense of balance between them all
    • However, the 770i sounds a little bit better than the C.O.P.+, but lacks the customization that the COP+ has.
    • The E11 does intensify and sharpen the bass a bit as well as also slightly widening the soundstage, but like I said, it isn't so dramatic that most people would care about it
    • Basswise I would say the V Moda Crossfade LP had a bit louder bass but this bass is a lot more accurate and punchy
    • I bought three pairs of Head Phones, Teh first pair that arrived where the Beyerdynamics DT990s which were just flat out awesome but where open and not meant for public places, then i tested out the Beyerdynamic Custom Ones Pro, which were again just exceptional headphones but a bit bulkly.
    • Sound does leak quite a bit at high volumes but better than open headphones
    • I'm giving them 4 stars because, other than the fact that they hurt me quite a bit, they seem to be really well made and the sound quality is outstanding (I'm no audiophile, though)
    • My $80 XB500s feel so much better (they just sound a bit more muddy).
    • They bothered my ears a little bit when I first started wearing them, but that has happened with every pair of headphones I've owned
    • Although, there is a good bit more bass with these in comparison to the HD600s
    • When i compare them off of my head, the right headphone does seem a tiny bit looser than the left....very very miniscule amount, but to annoy me ever so slightly at some times when i move my head.
    • i think the sound could be a bit louder, but thats not a deal breaker.
    • oh yeah, it's a bit expensive, but meh, if you like how it
    • The M-100's leak a little bit, but you couldn't make out the song someone was listening to at 5ft distance...in a library
    • All sound good, although the Note 5 seems to be a bit louder and clearer
    • The only way in which I can say I've found myself displeased with these so far is that they hurt the top of my head a bit with continuous wear
    • The only way in which I can say I've found myself displeased with these so far is that they hurt the top of my head a bit with continuous wear
    • but i think the ATH-M50x sounds a bit more clear
    • My only qualm is that is near max volume, the headphones bleed a bit
    • I did notice that sounds were a bit more clear overall that I cannot
    • Putting the XL pads in the case smashes them a bit too much and wears them out quickly
    • The only bad thing I can tell is it does leak a bit of
    • Though I am currently in China, it seems V-Moda doesnt send a customized shield to here, which, to me, is a bit sad, since I really wanted to use a customized shield with the newly bought headphones.
    • When it came to the price of the headphones I was honestly a bit hesitant to say the least, having kept shopping around and comparing headphones for a while
    • Sounded every bit as good as I expected and they satisfy my bass craving splendidly
    • Sounded every bit as good as I expected and they satisfy my bass craving splendidly
    • My $80 XB500s feel so much better (they just sound a bit more muddy).
    • with that said i think these headphones have amazing sound, the bass is powerful but not overpowering, the mids are great, the treble seems like it could be a bit
    • I did like the vmodas, but the on ears were just a bit uncomfortable for my ears
    • B&W P5:These headphones are gorgeous to look at and to hold and you can't complain one bit about the build quality
    • a bit harsh- Cushions can be uncomfortable, Easily fixed if you get XL
    • The bass is tamed, the occasional intrusion in the midrange is removed, lower midrange gains a healthy dose of weight and the treble gains just a tad bit more sparkle while still remaining pleasant to hear creating a overall sound signature that I would be satisfied with on a $1,000 headphone
    • The highs are a bit forward but not at all annoying.
    • The older Crossfade LP2's have a more "raw" sound to them with bass that vibrates and resonates a bit harder than the mids and the highs
    • Only negative like the original over-ear Momentum they could be a bit larger, and I wish the cable was flat or rubberized.
    • The ear-cups are a tad bit too shallow for me
    • The XL pads have flattened a bit, so I put a bit of 550 paracord under the padding to bolster it, and it increases the comfort factor noticeably
    • I was a bit skeptical at first, as I compared what the Crossfade LPs/LP2s had against what the M-100 has.
    • The bass booms a bit more than is natural, but the sound is very clear and not muddy at all, and frankly I like
    • Details and textures seem to have been blunted or rounded off, and occasionally I felt the midrange was a bit hard or harsh
    • Thus, I do not have much negatives to write about other than (1) wish they could include a 3-button cable as standard accessory and (2) when you put headphones around your neck, the metal band will press against your neck so it does hurt a little bit and is otherwise uncomfortable.
    • Let me start by saying that I am not an audiophile but have a good bit of knowledge on headphones
    • Speaking of the earcup's plastic though, I have accidentally dropped the M-100's on a hard carpet surface and the enclosure is cracked a little bit
    • I do a fair bit of flying and work in a very talkative office building so noise isolation to me was very important
    • The velcro cover for the Senn case is a bit easier to use then the V-MODA's V-Strap system
    • Initially putting them on they feel super-comfy, but after 1-2hours my ears would ache a bit because my ears touched the grilles
    • Truly an amazing bit of product design
    • I do have two complaints, one being that the headphones while able to cancel out the world around will leak a bit of sound when playing at high levels meaning that others will be able to hear a bit of what you're listening to.
    • Cons - your ears will get a bit hot during long listening sessions
    • Cons - your ears will get a bit hot during long listening sessions
    • It's a bit uncomfortable but the sound quality for a closed ear headphone is not too bad.
    • If you have a small head that shouldn't be a problem, but for people like me with larger heads it becomes a bit uncomfortable after a few hours
    • As a Quality Manager I travel for work quiet a bit and wanted a nice pair of portable headphones to accompany me
    • These headphones, in my opinion, they work best with hip hop or R&B, but that’s just my opinion
    • no giant "b" on the side is nice.- Very understated industrial design that doesn't seem to age at
    • I Listen to all sorts of music ranging from rock, metal to hip hop, r&b, jazz and country music and these headphones work fine with all of them
    • In comparison the V-MODAs are more comfortable, cleaner sounding, more bass without losing mids, more convenient fold up design, better looking ; no stupid b on the side
    • For me, I find this particular signature less ideal for strong vocal tracks but good for more modern R&B, Hip Hop, and Electronic genre
    • You may not be as obsessed as I, but I guarantee you will be impressed.
    • On the positive I really like the way they combined steel and plastic in the headphones that gives these and industrial look and and a high quality feel
    • You may not be as obsessed as I, but I guarantee you will be impressed.
    • n’t recommend using these for exercising
