They are not boomy nor harsh and the construction is great with the exception of the share cable plug which doesn't fit as well as it should

I Listen to all sorts of music ranging from rock, metal to hip hop, r&b, jazz and country music and these headphones work fine with all of them

For me, I find this particular signature less ideal for strong vocal tracks but good for more modern R&B, Hip Hop, and Electronic genre
