• Reviews around star (3.10 of 5)

    V-MODA Crossfade M-100 Over-Ear Noise-Isolating Metal Headphone (Phantom Chrome)

    • I knock off one star for db output
    • Why the missing star?
    • (it should not be this hard to reach a six star support line via call or text) and finally spoke to a rep who tod me that this would not be covered
    • But, the deceitful ad knocked one star down
    • I have no problem giving these 5 stars, easily worth the money I was so hesitant to spend on them.
    • Boys - Please, The Most Incredible ThingS.H.E - Play, SHERO, Super Star, 愛的地圖Taylor Swift - Fearless, Speak Now
    • The mic is worth the price as well, however a mix of these ear cans and jacks is why these great phones lost a star for me
    • I still don't think that detracts a star for the review
    • These would without a doubt be 5 star if the cord didn't rip open
    • I have no problem giving these 5 stars, easily worth the money I was so hesitant to spend on them.
    • I would say I don;t regret the 5 stars, but I do with it came with the X-Large foam inserts, I paid the extra $20 for them and they are just so much more comfortable for any size ear.
    • If I could give it a negative star I would.
    • I play PUBG a LOT, and it is amazing for hearing and locating those faint footsteps, even with all the poor sound optimization within PUBG.The reason I subtracted the 1 star, is the initial ear cushions are god awful, the V-Moda XL Heavy cushions are an absolute must buy for these headphones, I see absolutely no reason why they aren't the default cushions
    • That would knock off maybe half a star because in the long run its not a big deal
    • n’t recommend using these for exercising
    • If you are overwhelmed by the choices of headphones available in the $300 price range, are looking for something to use at home as well as on the go and care about quality sound while also appreciating deep, powerful, tight bass, these are simply the best choice available.
    • These headphones add the right amount of tight, clear base that makes the music realistic and warm rather than flat and stark as in the Bose.
    • Now the headphones still work as if they were brand new.
    • They still work as perfectly as they did the day that I got them
    • (i.e. voices sounded nothing like a real life person in front of you, no way you could be confused as to whether a person was singing in front of you), and it was just unpleasant to my ears, period.3
    • They're made for quality as well as
    • If you don't spring for the $30 XL memory cushions, enjoy a highly uncomfortable (and sticky feeling) listening experience
    • yes they're great to use them on the plane in the car at home but not as a
    • I'm pretty sure that you can find headphones that sound as good as or better than these, the problem is that you would pay much more than these cost
    • I would also recommend purchasing directly from m-voda as there are cheaper generic Chinese cushions that apparently fit these
    • Also, for me, they didn't quite fit over the ear all the way, I feel like they should be sold as an on-ear headphone
    • If you listen to a lot of midrange-centric music (classical, folk, some types of pop, smooth jazz, etc.), the bass is really too distracting as it is very forward relative to the midrange and thus midrange-centric music just doesn't sound right
    • I would not however recommend these in white as they can get dirty rather quickly.
    • I have had several high end headphones and recently purchased the HD dj8 and as great as it was, it lacked that mesmerizing sound effect
    • Works well with the cell phone on occasion as well as on the PS4 through the DS4 3.5mm port which as usall requires no extra amplification
    • 5/5Obviously works amazingly well with the Steam library of games as well as when the PS3 is connected to the laptop's various assortment of input
    • I've also had some time to compare the M-100 to my other pair of V-MODA headphones, the V-80, as well as to other headphones I've managed to play with at various retailers in New York City such as the Apple Store and B&H Photo
    • I listen to a lot of music on the L system in Chicago traveling to and from work, as well as at the gym and at night before I go to sleep
    • If that wasn’t enough they also sell the shields in different textures, as well as in Steel and Precious Metal
    • Overall: These headphones have gone through the ringer of a college lifestyle for almost six months now and still look, sound and feel as great as the day I got them
    • Also included is an amazingly well thought out case that is as beautiful as it is utilitarian
    • I changed the earcup pads to the XL memory foam size and it was better, but not as good as for example the Sony or KEF in comfort level.
    • I just spent the last half hour reading a bunch of the one star reviews, and they all have an excellent response from the 'six star support' team as well as from the supporting community
    • I paid full price for a new item and received a used item twice, and while this headset may work as if it was brand new, I don't know the circumstances that led the previous owners to return
    • I Listen to all sorts of music ranging from rock, metal to hip hop, r&b, jazz and country music and these headphones work fine with all of them
    • For me, I find this particular signature less ideal for strong vocal tracks but good for more modern R&B, Hip Hop, and Electronic genre
