Not every reed is great out of the box, but using a reed rush and a little sanding, the great "round" sounds always comes through.

100% worth every penny, the sound is also very good as long as you don't over use a reed (if you play 5 days a week for 30 mins to and hour or more you should really replace every week or your sound turns thin)
