I love Vandoren but #4 reeds are a little overkill.
-
They are a bit thicker than other brands of the same size, so if you're used to a 3 in the common brand Rico, I would recommend a 2.5 vandoren
-
I used a vandoren reed to play for one of my concerts, and was impressed by the quality of the reed for its meager price($20.47)
-
You can't find reeds that are more consistent with the great classical saxophone sound than the trust vandoren blue box!
-
As usual, Vandoren doesn't disappoint
-
Great price ...love The Vandoren
-
but Vandoren are well and never disappoint
-
My daughter plays alto sax and prefers Vandoren reeds over the other brands so these are the only ones that I purchase.
-
he had used another brand prior to purchasing these and found the Vandoren to be very much better.
-
I used to buy a cheaper brand but a few years ago his teacher and private tutor both recommended Vandoren
-
Vandoren does well.
-
She likes Vandoren over all other reeds.
-
If you need reeds just a hair softer/responsive, I recommend the Vandoren V12 3s.
-
Great as always
