The poorer quality the reed, additionally the more difficulty you will have controlling your tone; you may find that your tone is too brassy or that it is difficult to change your tone to suit different styles of music, even with changing your embouchure (mouth positioning) and/or air flow
Overall, these reeds are great, made of good quality wood, and produce a great sound.
same reeds, just stronger strength, and since its vandoren i know that the quality of my sound will be amazing
They are a very nice quality 4 reed for alto saxophone, although I would definitely not recommend the reeds of strength 4 for beginners, because the higher the number, the harder they are to play
The reeds are good quality and less expensive then at the music stores.
(This is actually a pro)Very hard to play lower notes (Still working on anything below a low C)A little more difficult to play quieter (Not very noticeable)Conclusion
so I was absolutely delighted to find the same one she uses online for a much cheaper price.
Excellent product and price was great as well as it delivery.
I used a vandoren reed to play for one of my concerts, and was impressed by the quality of the reed for its meager price($20.47)
it is what I would get in any music store. with better price!!
Excellent product and price was great as well as it delivery.
Cons: If I was not comparing these reeds to other manufacturers, I would give this product 4 stars because I feel the quality of Vandoren reeds has slightly decreased over the years.
I have ordered these same reeds several times and the product is good and the service is fast
These r great for marching though cause u can beat them up cause the bad ones dont sound good to begin with
Cons: If I was not comparing these reeds to other manufacturers, I would give this product 4 stars because I feel the quality of Vandoren reeds has slightly decreased over the years
i used other brands for my clarinet, but since i tested the Vandoren reeds i began using those beauties on my instruments and is amazing the difference, the reeds are consistent, have great sound, easy to blow, and to break in the beginning, so you will not have to make almost any adjustment to this reed to play it at his full range, so buy it with confidence.
I have always loved the sound I can get with Vandoren reeds
Serves its purpose of playing on the saxophone, excellent reeds give a great tone quality and sound when played, will buy again in the future.
These reeds are easier to play, still make a good, full sound, split less, and don't splinter.
Although they take awhile to break in to get a good sound, they are of great quality.
