While these reeds seem to be pretty good quality, when I opened it, one had slipped completely from its internal package, which in turned caused me to give it to my son early (was going to be a Christmas gift) because it looked like it had been opened already

No big deal since the quality is still decent, but someone grabbing the package wrong could have easily broken the loose reed.

The sound quality for the two usable reeds was fantastic
