This is a good deal, as they are pricey reeds, but so worth it!
-
The Rico reeds I bought at the local music store seemed nice enough... at first
-
The reeds were great
-
Love these reeds, I hate cheap reeds as they are hard to play but these give you that jazz sound and also easy to play.
-
This was by far my favorite reed
-
After several weeks the cheap Chinese reeds get too weak to play, but the Vandoren's hold up.

So this is the way to get your perfect reed.
-
My favorite reed on a #7 Jody Jazz DV Mouth Piece
-
The V16 and black Z reeds, for me, sucked
-
The best jazz reeds I personally liked (Java red)
-
They didn't account for the fact that when you start out, you need a softer reed
-
Overall, good reed
-
All the reeds were decent.
-
Looking for the right reed
-
Vandoren reeds in general are awesome couldn't ask for better reeds
-
My son said these reeds are a little too hard for his jazz mouthpiece
-
This is a good deal, as they are pricey reeds, but so worth it!
-
This reed was my least favorite
-
this is a pretty good mix, cause every saxhophonist needs to find the perfect reed, to obtain the better sound, each saxophone is diferent, each player is diferent
-
No big deal since the quality is still decent, but someone grabbing the package wrong could have easily broken the loose reed.
-
Got to try famous reeds and find the one you like
-
Vandoren makes the best reeds in the business, hands down
-
He recently started to wonder the effects from various changes such as mouthpiece and reeds
-
From their descriptions, I thought I'd like the Java Red the best, and was going to just buy a box of those, but I saw this and wanted to try them all to make sure I got the best chance at finding a good reed for me
-
Good reed but had a bizarre taste that gave me a headache
-
inexpensive way to evaluate the multiple options of reeds available from vandoren
-
For me, I am not terribly found of the V16 or ZZ cuts, but I do like the red and green Java reeds
-
These Van Doren reeds are all "weaker" than their Traditional reed, so if you play a 3 strength Van Doren Traditional these Jazz reeds are rated closer to 2.5 for most, and maybe 2.75 for the V16.If you've only played on a Rico standard reed, it's noticeably weaker than all the Van Dorens, so make sure not to order too high a strength number
-
The sound quality for the two usable reeds was fantastic
