If you are using this indoors with a couple of people, I’m sure the speaker in the projector will be just fine

I used it with iPhone using a lightning to HDMI dongle, and also Bluetooth to portable speaker

It does produce decent sound, but I'd recommend some speakers if you are using this for movies

Speaker is not that loud but the projector has convenient audio jacks in the back

I like using a portable Bluetooth speaker via aux and it sounds like surround sound in my small room

From opening it a few days ago, my kids have already used it for movies and gaming, Of course the small speaker isn't sufficient, so the projector's auxiliary cable hook up was convenient for connecting a speaker for a more detailed sound

This easily holds the projector and my portable speaker and helps make set up a breeze

To fix that I recommend getting a 3.5mm AUX cable and connecting your favorite speaker to the headphone/line-out jack on the back for better and louder audio

I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a personal projector to use for movies,f video games and sports games at get together' s or for any occasion
