Vaultz Locking Single Drawer CD File Cabinet, 15 x 7.5 x 7.75 Inches, Black (VZ01173)

    • The drawers slide well IF you keep them in their original location.
    • The top left hand drawer would not open, after pulling the other 3 drawers out and examining the inside, I could see that the back center track which is made from thin low grade plywood had cracked and come away from the nails holding in place
    • The exterior box is reasonably solid, but the drawers are really a disappointment
    • Then junked the drawers eventually too when I moved onto t anew product
    • Above average quality and adjustable drawer dividers are nice to prevent cases from falling over when you only have a few in the drawer
    • The drawer doesn't even slide very well and it used to have felt on the inside that covered the locking
    • Then the top drawer wouldn't lock anymore
    • The drawer works smoothly even when fully loaded
    • Since they are not there to stabilize drawers they are removable if you don't want to use them
    • The drawers don't close too well - you have to jimmy them a little bit but whatever
    • The drawers stick a little when trying to get open but it worked for what I needed.
    • The drawers are solid, and are very easy to open and close - not sure how one person that wrote a review claimed otherwise, had to be a defective unit or defective consumer (probably the latter). The only drawback is that you DO have to purchase your own folders, as this product only comes with 6 sample folders
    • The drawer removes completely - so yes the lock does come in handy to secure the drawer if you are carrying the case around
    • The top drawer did not close properly, had to push it into the cabinet 3/4 times until it went in
