Verbatim 95166 8.5 GB 2.4X Double Layer Recordable Disc DVD plus R DL, 10-Disc Spindle (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • I have made the mistake of trying Philips brand DL disks before with horrible results
    • So if you find yourself stuck with a batch that's failing to burn or verify, drop the burn speed down a notch, if your burning software allows it, until you've used up that batch, and then go buy a better brand, which from these reviews, sounds like Verbatim is one.
    • I got these DVDs for backing up large files, and movies and stuff that i have on my computers, and as verbatim has always proved, they are the best brand in the business.i highly recommend these or any other verbatim media, they are the most reliable on the market today
    • worst quality, bought 2 brand new burners still not burning correctly used to be a top notch brand been buying this brand for years and now having bad burns constantly wasted half the spindle on bad burns
    • This is the best brand on the market
    • Sometimes, a few disks in the pack are not the best, but a few bad burns is better than all bad burns with a lower quality and cheaper brand
    • I find the Verbatim brand trustworthy and affordable.
    • The best brand for reliability and durability.
    • If cost was my prime concern and I had lots of time, Id go with a cheaper brand like Memorex: you would have to have a 40% burn failure to equal Verbatims higher per disk cost
    • I have tried other brands, but they usually fail to work.
    • Sold in many different types of stores, these top brand disks're some of the best quality DVD-r playback ever used, even beating out professional grade GOLD discs, that didn't bring up statements like, "that looks just as clear as the original DVD
    • From years of using these Verbatim DVD-DLs for archives these would still have to be rated as one of the best brands available
    • I love the Verbatim brand and trust it above all the others I have tried in the past
    • I highly recommend the brand, for reliability and consistent quality.
    • Some bad but not as much as the other brands
    • THIS BRAND OF PRODUCT IS A VERY GOOD BRAND
    • Have tried others cheaper brands but usually throw half of them away
    • worst quality, bought 2 brand new burners still not burning correctly used to be a top notch brand been buying this brand for years and now having bad burns constantly wasted half the spindle on bad burns
    • I purchased these after wasting $20 on those memorex disks from best buy but that will teach me to try to go back to a cheaper brand after using these for so long!Just to make sure the disks were the issue I burned a game on my last Verbatim disk and burned it on a Memorex as well and the Memorex disk didn't work and the Verbatim did.
    • I’ve used the Verbatim brand now for several years and have been completely satisfied with the results.
    • I would highly recommend this brand of dual layer dvds to anyone, over other brands.
    • I have yet to get a bad disc which is much different than other cheaper brands.
    • Verbatim is an excellent brand with the discs being great quality
    • Other brands are cheaper but usually have problems during the layer break
    • good quality, good brand, good product.
    • as for the dvd's bought this brand before and they worked with no problems.
    • I prefer the Verbatim brand over others because of quality and their pricing is as good or sometimes even
    • Verbatim is like memorex, they take pride in the product, I would only buty these 2 brands, and this one I like the best.
    • These are the best brand of DVD+r DL you can buy
    • This brand is great, however the one time i ordered from Amazon a majority of the DVD had markings on them
    • Sold in many different types of stores, these top brand disks're some of the best quality DVD-r playback ever used, even beating out professional grade GOLD discs, that didn't bring up statements like, "that looks just as clear as the original DVD
    • These r perfect to use for ur Xboc 360 backups, beening using these for about a year and never had a bad disc yet....
    • I burned the DVD+R DL at 4x speed (approx
    • Unless the disc specifically says "archival quality" then I would assume that they are standard discs (which have been found to deteriorate over time.)I highly recommend these discs for your approved DVD+R DL burner
    • I don't back up with dl extensively, but have used a few different brands throughout time and it was always hit and miss as to whether I had a clean burn.
    • This finding is as good as or better than all DVD+R and DVD-R (single layer
