You would have to burn a couple at different speeds to find out the optimal speed for ur system.

But if I burn them at 12x or higher then the first couple of songs will not play properly and then it plays fine

Verbatim has flip-flopped its quality on us all and is selling CD's that only look like their original Digital Vinyl discs until closer inspection reveals the same light dye and flimsy weight of all the cheap-o discs I thought I was avoiding.
