Printable surface is great and spans the entire disk which makes printing a full cover great
The printable surface is great for those printers that support them.
The only ones I like more are the Verbatim DataLifePlus Thermal Printable, because they are much easier to write on with a sharpie due to their shiny surface (this has a matte finish) - if only the price was more comparable
Also like the white surface for printing images directly on the disc with an Epson ink jet printer.
These are good disc with a very good printable surface.
By the way, I use an Epson Stylus Photo R300 to print great photos and DVDs.
These DVDs are certainly not the least expensive ones available, but they're worth it
It doesn't sound like a big deal but it makes for nicer looking DVDs.
When it comes to burning DVDs and CDs, you will get the fewest bad burns if both the media and the burner are well known name brands (and both manufacturers have a reputation for making good products)
I will update my review after I used more dvds, but thus far, 10 out of 10 worked great.
In my opinion one of the best brands of recordable media, that U can buy in the market.

I highly recommend these DVD+R, they burn great (no coasters yet) and they print well (hb printable too).
Don't waste your time with cheaper brands.
I have tried other brands and always regret it, too many wasted burns.
If the 8X (these discs) are this good, I have to think the 16X will be just as good
These discs are high quality, and we recommend them for anyone authoring DVD's.
I am surprised by the increased number of bad discs in this batch, as compared to previous ones ; but usually a reliable blank disc brand I have repeatedly purchased .
No problems burning so far... used approximately 10 discs out of pack to burn 2 different video dvd's that contained menus, plenty of chapters, 3 different cameras running at same time
I haven't had a single coaster so far after burning over 100 discs.
So with all these five star ratings, I'm not sure If i got a bad batch or what, but the DVD's only had 4.3 not 4.7 GB.
They were good for the first half of last year, recently, the last 2 batches that we purchased, 80% of the DVDs were unusable, working for a pro video company this really sucks
Be careful not to get a bad batch of DVDs (Not that you can control it), otherwise you will spend hours finding a DVD that works
I must have gotten one of the bad batches (aka coasters).
