If the 8X (these discs) are this good, I have to think the 16X will be just as good

I am surprised by the increased number of bad discs in this batch, as compared to previous ones ; but usually a reliable blank disc brand I have repeatedly purchased .

I burned 95 DVD's and there no defective discs.

The Verbatim 8X and lower numbers were manufactured in Tawain and had no disc error rates compared to any and all other manufacturing

However, the discs will only burn at 2.4x in my Plextor PX-504A burner, which has a max DVD+R burn speed of 4x.

It must be something with the manufacturing facility in Taiwan.... never had this many bad discs in a single spindle

No problems burning so far... used approximately 10 discs out of pack to burn 2 different video dvd's that contained menus, plenty of chapters, 3 different cameras running at same time

These are good disc with a very good printable surface.

I haven't had a single coaster so far after burning over 100 discs.

I would highly recommend these discs for their quality alone, but the price is also good compared to other brands.

For better quality and reliability 8X discs are far more reliable (less Disc Errors) when using the lower speed (8X) to record
