I am using these discs in a Toshiba DVD recorder, a Phillips DVD recorder with a hard drive, and a Samsung DVD recorder

I have burned hundreds of TV shows from my DVD recorder hard drive to these discs and have ended up with less than a handful of coasters

Believe me, if it's infuriating to lose data because you didn't back it up, it's even more so if you have backed up, but both hard drives go bad on you!

The Drive on the Desktop was faulty

Could be a faulty drive on that MacBook, user error or something else.

I burned another standard DVD-R and the PC booted perfect

Returned them to amazon and got the old faithful Maxell R/W 15-pack.

These discs are ones that I can very well depend on for burning all my data and burning all my homemade dvd's, They work better than any other ones that I have tried, haven't come across a bad one yet, I try to keep a bunch on hand.
