I use the DVD+RW when I am creating a rough-draft of a project that I want to watch on an actual TV.Ordinarily, I stick a blank DVD+RW into the burner, and burn

Otherwise you will end up scratching your CD/DVD or have hard time finding a suitable CD/DVD jacket when you really need one

as for burning a DVD that I have not done yet.

I would than substitute one of my Verbatim DVD Rewriteable Discs, which worked fine

I haven't used them yet but they appear to be exactly what I wanted, rewritable DVD's as opposed to CD's.

One tip though, when erasing a DVD+RW or DVD-RW, do not use the quick erase, always use the full erase, this will insure a longer life for your discs.

These DVD RW are getting so hard to find and when recording things and editing them on the computer Ineed a RW DVD, not just a a Burned DVD.
