What I did not realize is how dependent the unit is on receiving strong GPS signals.

I assumed that with our robust bandwidth of Fios and some GPS signal it would extend the cell signal inside our aluminum sided house.

They only problem we ran into was one of our phones was 3G and did not have the advanced calling feature which is a must have for the extender to work (according to Verizon tech support)
