I tried the "most popular" range extender on Amazon and it hardly helped at all--virtually useless

As a side benefit, the wireless signal in the kitchen has drastically improved, as the extender is closer to the kitchen than is the router

This extender was inexpensive, and the large proportion of positive reviews let me to purchase it.

Easy to set up and although it is somewhat large compared to the "most popular" range extender on Amazon, it's worth the small inconvenience to have fully functioning wi-fi once again.

Existing extender broke on Boxing Day, Amazon Prime to the rescue and deliver next day

I have had this extender for a little over a month now and it still works fantastically
