I have only had it a few months, played it less than a dozen times and either the needle already needs replacing or it's broken.

I love the device itself but was disappointed that the needle on my machine was damaged before I even used it for the first time

i already had the victrola vintage-looking radio with a cd player, radio, vinyl record player, etc, which had a bad needle that would skip relentlessly, so i bought this in hopes that it'd be different.it sure was different

Disappointed, the needle is skipping and we can't play the records

Asked me again if needle was good.

This turntable doesn't have proper weighting, does not have anti skating, and has a poor quality cartridge and needle that will destroy your records

That was a nice surprise since I always have issues dropping the needle accidentally

Not only does doing so prolong the life of the records, it keeps the Victrola’s needle free of any debris that could harm the turntable, and adversely impact the sound

not sure if the needle is damages as other people say theirs is fine.

After playing three records, the needle was damaged.

Comes standard with a very cheap needle that skips alot

Last but not least, when it arrived, the whole part that holds the needle was hanging off the arm, by 2 cables and the third one was unplugged...

Mine arrived with a loose needle which I just fixed with a little tape.

Asked if needle was good.

The needles it came with are kinda crap though and skip on some records, so recommend buying better replacement needles

Remember to clean your records before playing them or it will sound terrible and ruin the needle.

The needle actually has enough drag to actually stop the record while the turntable just spins on the spacer

Cheap needles but fine for ~$50.

Can't play a record without the damn needle!
