VicTsing HDMI to VGA Converter Adapter Gold-Plated for PC, Laptop, DVD, Desktop and Other HDMI Input Devices - White

    • It works, but without anchors to keep the VGA cable attached the connection is disrupted with the slightest force (i.e. even a slight breeze or tap of the table.
    • Have to fidget with it a lot to get the screen to make a proper connection
    • I teach a class at a University and bought this adapter because my current room does not support direct HDMI connection, and my PC does not posses a VGA port
    • This makes attaching an older monitor that only has a vga connection pretty difficult without an adapter
    • It does not have the holes for the monitor cable to screw into so that is a loose connection along with the HDM fitting into the laptop was not snug either
    • Wrong Connection
    • I am able to have dual screens with my new video card which doesn't support the vga connection... that was until I purchased this product!
    • Doesn’t hold a stable connection, only worked for 3 months
    • Not a great connection
    • This connection worked perfectly
    • Connection was not consistent.
    • No connection issues so far in 2 weeks of consistent use at work.
    • Right connection
    • Would not recommend- it provides a weak connection when converted to hdmi and after a month's use disconnects & reconnects frequently (at least every minute)
    • So you have a flimsy connection plugged into a 1" dongle, which doesn't want to really stay in the HDMI side.
    • After writing this review, the supplier, VicTsing contacted me and offered to send the updated version that allows you to screw in the VGA cable for a more secure connection
    • This adapter, was "VicTsing HDMI to VGA with Audio Adapter, Gold-Plated 1080P Active HDMI to VGA Adapter Video Converter Male to Female with Micro USB and 3.5mm Audio Port Cable for PC/Laptop/DVD which had a good connection along with audio output
    • There may have also been a manufacturing error since there is a lack of solder on the inside of the device (it's pretty much falling apart, I didn't purposefully take it apart) failing to make a strong connection, but it also could have been from mechanical stress due to the weight of the VGA cable.
    • The laptop sort of connected, but the signal was distorted and eventually the projector lost its connection
    • This works great and never had to worry about it slipping out or losing connection.
    • Nice and compact, but the connection on the VGA side is very intermittent and touchy
    • Loose connections
    • The only problem is that it does not have the ability for the VGA to screw in to secure the connection and the cable from my monitor is rather heavy
    • It cost next to nothing to construct this and next to nothing for the components, but they decided to charge $8 for a piece of junk that had to be duct taped into place in order to get a proper connection
    • It works, but without anchors to keep the VGA cable attached the connection is disrupted with the slightest force (i.e. even a slight breeze or tap of the table.
    • I appreciate the compact nature of the adapter, and at first, it got the job done, but during the first day of use, the connection became spotty, and upon inspection, the unit dissembled into its 3 parts (shell, plastic cover, and actual electronics - see pictures)
    • Poor connection to VGA plug, Since there is no place to screw in VGA, it just sits there in the wind
    • However, the connection with the male VGA cable lead is sometimes loose
    • Although it works fine, it has a very loose connection, which frequently needs to be pushed back together
    • Mine broke after 4 months.as there are no screw holes to hold the vga cable, it sometimes slips out or loses proper connection... which is a pain
    • Garbage, flimsy connection, and it did not even work...avoid.
    • Not able to completely insert into a usb-hub (chargenpro), loose connection and seems to be aiding to head in usb-c hub
    • bad connection or faulty adapter.
    • USB connection, while available, is too slow & will display jerky video

    • But I'm 99% sure it disabled my "pure" HDMI connection on my laptop

    • Strong connection and easy
    • Although it works fine, it has a very loose connection, which frequently needs to be pushed back together
    • Does exactly what I need it to, the connections aren't too loose so even though there are no threads for the screws (on the male VGA connector), the VGA connector stays in perfectly
    • Connection fails every couple seconds
    • Doesn`t over heat and can work really long
