This particular bracket sits off the wall about 3" before it connects to your screen, so don't expect this device to hug the wall by any means

Kind of implied in the sparse installation instructions, but the supplied nylon anchors are meant for solid wall (concrete, block, etc.) use.

Good wall mount with the appropriate hardware in box, although for bigger monitors, swivel is limited to less than 30 degrees

I purchased this cheap wall mount for the TV to use the mounting plate to mount to the TV in order to mount a DISH Network Joey (client device) to the mounting plate on the TV to get it off the counter and try to clean up the wiring mess

It's sturdy, easy to mount, comes with a large assortment of screws (to fit a variety of TV's) along with the long screws for mounting to the wall, and keeps the TV close to the wall while allowing it to be adjusted up and down as well as to the side
