Looking at images between these two monitors and comparing them both against my 4k HDR10 display, this ViewSonic easily punches in a lot closer to that 4k display while my HP unit was completely subpar with noticeably less vibrant and less accurate colors despite trying my best to calibrate it to a similar output.

No problem with refresh flicker and the colors are very vibrant.

Easy to assemble, looks good and has a nice size screen that has good color and video qualities

I have tried replacing HDMI cable and adjusting, but the variant bad coloring is bad.

It easily blows the HP VH240a out of the water by comparison whose colors were a lot less accurate and vibrant (again, this could be entirely due to the particular unit I have and/or my calibrations of that monitor, but I do feel that the comparisons are still worth noting as they do have some merit).- Pure Whites: the white color temperature can be fairly neutral to get those pure whites or the RGB can be adjusted to make it warmer or cooler to your liking.- Overall Image Quality:

The color of this monitor is not really good

I don't know if warming up or doing a manual calibration improved it, but after some fussing, the colors ended up looking pretty good - a little oversaturated and lacking in the crisp punch of the Mac retina display, but actually pretty good

Unfortunately the colors on the VA2246MH-LED 22 Inch monitor are terrible.

It has great color and contrast and is is easy on my eyes.

while comparing it side-by-side to my 4k HDR10 display and my 108% NTSC monitor, this VS2412-H has really strong color reproduction and accuracy compared to those two with only minor variations in the vibrancy of certain tones (which may be entirely due to the difference in my calibrations moreso than a limitation on this monitor itself).

I chose this model because: (a) my workstation has an HDMI port, (b) I don't use a touch screen and (c) it is compatible with my articulating-arm monitor support
