After setting it up and getting all the color balancing right, it actually looks fairly good on a static image

no, you would not use it for medical diagnostics; however, if you want a daily working flat panel that will just work and display a nice image for Office, Accounting Apps...day-to-day...look no farther.

The unit is also great, though I`d likely been happy with a lot of different brands as I was upgrading from an 8 year old VGA only monitor, that as it turns out wasn`t capable of displaying the high resolutions that my desktop computer can handle

I order this monitor last year (8/19/2018) and it still works as if it's brand new
