The speakers, like most speakers built in to monitors, are horrendously bad

I was hoping (not expecting, but I had a slight hope) that the speakers on this monitor would be good enough that I wouldn't feel the need to buy new speakers, but they didn't even come close

and that's what these monitor speakers sound like

I'm not a stickler for perfect color, so I don't have a means of calibrating (nor do I plan to), so I can't tell you how imperfectly calibrated they are, but if you're looking for perfection and do a lot of photo/video editing, you'll likely want to go for a better calibrated monitor.- Speakers are tiny tin cans: I have a cheap bluetooth speaker on my desk that I'm not fond of (likes to turn itself off even when plugged in)
