I've paid for a monitor that only works intermittently and makes terrible noises and loses the image

The monitor started making LOUD static noises on occasion about a week after I started using it, so I changed the plug to a different outlet on my Surge Suppressor.

I liked this monitor well enough to purchase a second one for my mom.
