for the price this is a good antenna to put in the attic and pull free HDTV signals.

Mounting it on the rooftop of the other home was great got good signal and many channels.

The amplifier box must be powered up to receive any weaker channels and splitting the signal with one other TV is easy.

ABC and CBS came in great and NBC had a poor signal

I fought with this for almost a month, tried better coax, antenna placement, the beam width of this antenna is so narrow that if you are receiving a station that is less than one mile away from another, you can not get enough signal strength to see both without moving the antenna and if the power goes off the damn thing looses it's mind and runs to the end of it's rotation

Couple of channels have problems with reflection thus reducing viewable signal and at times were unwatchable.

If it was on a hill, it would probably pick it up with a steady signal..

Depending on the application and location, you may want to take the little pice where the pole stand would go and secure what you will be using (figure where to place for the best signal - trying to avoid too much wind) and then back into what would work best for you
