There’s just a super loud buzzing and static noise.

I use AUX cable to connect my TV, for this mode it should be connected to the headphone jack of your TV which is pure audio output and not some mixed output, otherwise it will produce some buzzing and static noise, for me it works perfectly

The sound bar is great but mine is defective and theres a rattle noise that bugs me when the audio plays
