I own a spin clean as well, and although it does a good job of cleaning the records, it does not remove the dirt and grime altogether

I buy a lot of used records and while the spin clean did a pretty good job there were still times when halfway through the record it sounded like it was being played through a sock.

The pads could be better, but they do their protective job and that is what matters
