This problem is easily remedied by placing small scraps of electrical tape over the protruding screw heads and installing a small spacer (steel washer) between the battery tip and the "+" terminal

The motor works well with my hanging crytal hanging that I wanted to catch the sunlight on the crystals inside my home with slowly changing position

Only positive had it worked would have been the slow rotation.

then again if youre using a disco ball its probably not in a quiet room

With a disco ball it made my living room seem like a different room.

Unfortunately, this stopped working the FIRST time we used it.

As has been stated repeatedly, this product simply didn't work when I received it and put in the battery

Simple and nice, smart product, using it with 12" Disco Mirror Ball , did try it in small to medium size rooms

This product will only support about a 3 pound load without making some simple modifications which will require disassembly and tinkering.

Runs at the perfect speed, is quiet and spins my disco ball just the way I want it to!

This unit can't be beat for the price, and spins at a nice slow speed.

Not worth the money it would cost to return it, but hopefully will stop people from wasting their money on one like I did

The first motor I received would hum and "sometimes" make a turn when holding "upside down".

Even though this cheap spinner has some shortcomings, I have to give it 5 stars for its adaptability.

Right out of the box I realized that this spinner had a fatal design flaw - the battery makes a dead short at the "+" end because the battery inadvertently touches two screws adjacent to the battery terminal.
