This wasn't an issue for me because the BenQ has a lens shift that allows me to lower the image without degrading quality or having to use any keystone adjustments.

Adjust-ability of the mount is relatively straight forward and the quality of the metal seems good enough to hold a 10lb projector in the ceiling well.
