Why don't they improve the sound

Good picture and adequate sound

Easy to set-up, amazing picture and sound,you won't be disappointed for the price!

It has surprisingly impressive sound for such a lightweight device!

The sound and the picture is amazing on the Sony

I guess the only problem is the sound that is a bit to low, even though I bought the 2.1 soundbar and believe it or not is the bomb

The sound is good but it has an output for enhanced sound systems and this would improve the overall package when watching movies or shows with big sound (orchestra, explosions, etc.).

My only minor complaint is the sound.

The picture quality is very good; but the sound wasn't very good, so we added a 36" Vizio sound bar.

However if you're looking for a premium picture, nice sound and great features, pay a little bit more for a better brand

Speakers on the TV are decent, but I still would route through speakers for better sound.

For the most part the TV pictures excellent sound is less than expected but I got the Visio sound bar however the set up instructions were very confusing and not very helpful

Great Picture, very clear and the sound is wonderful

The sound is even pretty good for a TV sound system for those not looking for audiophile level sound, but of course it won't compare to an actual sound system

, the TV freezes A LOT, the sound is AWFUL (when my A/C is on I have to have to volume on 100% and can still hardly hear it), and the quality for the money is just not worth it.
