Had no problem playing DVD's and Blurays

As I write this review, its skipping and freezing while playing a spotless Dvd

DVD/VCR combo(that still works) because they can be had for between $

I started playing closer attention to my DVDs when I would have to take them out if the player started acting up and I realized that almost every time my dvd player acted up and froze the dvd mid-play, the dvd would have those burn marks on it

The wort part is a perfectly fine DVD is now stuck inside the worthless little box

One great example is a movie that I bought, BRAND NEW, that I played and the dvd player froze up and wouldn't release my dvd, resulting in my brand new dvd being ruined and the disk side having burned lines about an inch in width all the way around it starting at the center

It identifies the disk as a DVD and then the unit freezes on the blue screen with Vizio logo.

Even these things I overlooked because hey, a funky DVD player is better than no DVD player, right

a few weeks I noticed that my DVD's were getting scratches and burn marks, none of which I notice before

Will not eject DVD after it freezes.

Plays movies as well as most dvd players
