Well, I bought this remote precisely for the Amazon hot key and it didn't work

We lost the original remote to our tv in less than a year and now have gone through two of these replacement remotes after they just stop working for no reason within a couple of months.

The remotes are great, but if your Vizio E Series Models TV is a Blue Ray model, this remote will only work as a basic remote, to watch Amazon, Netflix and so one you will have to use your smart phone, or tablet.

I took stars away for clicking buttons and one totally useless remote.

The old remote just stopped working one day and unlike most TVs it didn't have dedicated channel, volume, input buttons on the TV itself.

The remote does control volume, channels, input, pic mode and aspect ratio just like the included dumb remote.

Buy at your own risk and know that this remote is not as durable as factory remote.
