I might keep it and modify it myself, since at least it gives me the transmit/ receive function to build a decent unit out of (I hope...), but I'll never buy another one again.

This unit is a bargain.

As stated by the others here, the unit is way too sensitive and picks up a ridiculous amount of noise from the flute body no matter how you position it
