They look really fantastic, but the first pair that cord had a short and would only play out of one ear.

The clarity exceeds the last 2 pair of beats and a pair of Bose QC easily.

All in all, a fantastic pair of headphones that stand out from the mass of black, plastic models available today.

This pair of headphones are very stylish with a retro look and the sound is good but not excellent

The shorter cable with the the in-line mic is nice looking but plain

These are definitely going to appeal to you if you're looking for something slightly retro (the wood looks kind of like the walls of an 80s house basement, only nicer), and acceptable to wear if you're not 18-25 (no offense to the culturally elderly

So I would rather use the 51st Studios and enjoy 70% of my music better than my more expensive (and usually more neutral/analytical) headphones

But to me the 51st Studios is a tad more comfortable though not by too much

The packaging was excellent, the classy wood theme looked right, and the quality is there.

They were well packaged in a sturdy box (mine actually also had a t-shirt in it, thanks a lot!)

No sharp edges and very soft and thick cushion on top and ear parts

The length is adjustable, the cushion for the ears is soft

My son was so happy when we got them, loves them...not sure how they will hold

My son broke it trying to put it on his head within 3 weeks

Not that the bass is weak, it still resolves in a sonically pleasing way, but if you are looking for some shaking in your ears, you won't be thrilled

These headphones sound and look great for the price!They have a very smooth sound, with enhanced upper bass but rolled-off/veiled treble, which I tend to like since I'm very sensitive to harsh treble in headphones

Crisp sounding and the bass is just enough to not overpower the mids and high with a polite sound stage

Beautiful headphones' sound is clear as a whistle, just enough bass not a whole lot like those skull candy and beats that over kill the sound quality love the retro throwback feel of these also looks like a headphone from the 70's it fits my style, there very comfortable,can't wait for more of there line of headphones,I hope they come out with some ebony wood versions

The M50 has the same slightly boosted bass, but its bass has a faster attack and sounds leaner, giving the M50 a more analytical sound (hence why some use them for studio monitors)
