It seems like only very small cables and wires would even fit in there.

The wire loom simply can't fit enough cables for a TV and 3 other devices.

Once I had the shelves installed, cabling was a breeze: there are channels on either side with tabs that you can push the cables through and they will be held in place

But if you're looking for good, clean cable organization, look elsewhere, because this is complete trash.
