It rattled, it had very uneven volume from each string,the action was high, and the top string (Hi-G) was so hard to press that it was unplayable

I only use thise ukulele for electric effects and i love the strings that come with

Addendum regarding strings:I have measured the strings that came with this uke with a micrometer.

After re-stringing it some decent light-gauge strings, cleaning out the pickup cutouts, running some 0000 steel wool over the fretboard, adjusting the truss rod, and doing everything that you should do with a standard guitar cleaning, I got her up to an 8

The strings aren't fantastic and will leave some black residue on your fingers.

I have read through some of the other complaints: "cheap strings" or "check bridge" or "cheap pickups".

My biggest criticism is that the strings it comes with are garbage

Literally, change the strings and clean the neck the minute you get this

I restrung with the top 4 electric guitar strings from an Elixir brand electric guitar string pack (gauges .10 for the A through .26 for my low G) and this worked perfectly for this uke

The A-string is SLIGHTLY more quiet than the other strings, which seems to be a trend among some of the other lower reviews here, however you can still hear the string fine for my uke, but you can tell it is somewhat quiet

This could be just me, but I REALLY don't like the strings

This is a great product other than one of the machine heads it loose and the strings aren't great
