Vortex has amazing products at an amazing price with amazing customer service and warranty

Revised to three star review because now I do not trust it but good customer service from Vortex makes having an unreliable optic more reassuring

a week later they sent me a brand new sight that I have yet to have an issue with, they have an incredible service center great to talk with and vary happy to help, I will definitely buy from vortex in the future.

vortex has great customer service but this optic is straight junk . if you are going to buy a micro red dot spend the money and buy a trijicon or delta point.

For the price it's hard to beat

No where close to an Aimpoint even at that cheaper price

If you are looking to get started with a handgun red dot sight this is great unit at a fair price

The price was right, the design was right, and the Vortex warranty didn't hurt either

I would recommend the Venom for anyone looking for excellent quality small red dot sight for a reasonable price and it comes with a life time warranty and helpful customer service personal, how can you go wrong.

BUT, Vortex has a great warranty and they gave me a brand new replacement unit for free

Vortex has the best warranty and is a great company to deal with!

Great little red dot, just need to get the correct mounting plate depending if your gun is optic ready

The mount works well and perfectly co-witnesses with the iron backups.

Once mounted, I had issues with a flickering dot, but that was fixed by removing the battery and re-installing.

Along with the Advanced Optics mount this red dot mounted easy and zero'ed in under 10 rounds.

Only issue the included picatinny mount did not fit my weaver

My Glock 19 accuracy has markedly improved since I switched to a red dot sight.

I'm a pretty solid pistol shooter, but once I got used to using this red dot, my accuracy and speed improved

Install was fast and easy, has a large site window, battery is on top, have not sited it in yet

Install was easy to do and fit perfectly on the Burris Fast Fire base.

Easy install now that Vortex includes the shorter screws for the Glock MOS plates

Vortex products in general are very good quality for the price

Start with a great price, add an extremely high quality optic, and you get an outstanding value

After researching red dots, I found the Vortex Venom to be the best value and comes with a lifetime warranty

It deliveres the same great Vortex value as the other Red dot and magnifier I own with one of the best warranties in the business

That rim is battered and scarred, but the optic itself has no (zero) damage.

What a beautiful optic for the hard to set-up optics AK rifle

Compared to a couple more expensive units I did not like the build quality or craftsmanship of this red dot

Too bad, its a really nice looking unit with a lot of promise.

I have seen many of these in use at matches in my area I have also seen many more expensive units in

first unit arrived scratched and gouged.

So far I have put over 500 rounds through the gun, and the Vortex Venom has been reliable and has retained it's zero

The choice for me was between the Vortex Venom and the Burris Fastfire III

I've owned Vortex Venom before but needed on for a pistol.

With the Vortex Venom, this is no concern because the battery is housed on top.

Very nice optic, easy to install and well o packaged and timely delivered.

The battery cover is very hard to re-install once the battery is in, very easy to cross thread

Only reason for 4 stars is the battery cover is hard to screw down

After the third trip to the range, my battery cover fell off and rolled off into the range

I considered giving it four stars just because the battery cover is such a pain to put

but we had the dreaded battery cover problem others have written about.
