VOX STOMPLAB2G Modeling Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal

    • I recommend the Vox Amplug which are excellent practice devices and are cheaper than this pedal and offer AUX in and superior tone (use quality headphones).Give this pedal a try if you want
    • You would do well to look at my other review for the VOX Pathfinder if you are needing a practice amp at home and love VOX's clean/warm tone
    • and I liked none of them however if your willing to play with it and tweak it you can get some decent tone out of it
    • I also thought there were many usable tones right out of the box
    • I dialed some good cleans, some blues tones, some rock and some serious de-tuned metal tones
    • PROS: - Very easy to use, battery lasts a long time, many different tones and effects to cycle through, not super large / heavy / bulky
    • I highly recommend this to those whose on a budget or those who don't want to carry heavy multi effects pedals, the tones is true and the price won't burn your pocket.
    • I wouldn't gig with it, however in a practice setting, it has some pretty cool tones.
    • What I did with it, and why I gave it 5 stars.1 - set up a clean setting - simply my amp/cab combo - with gain and volume set to produce a clean tone
    • There are a lot of clean tones, a lot of fuzzy overdriven tones, some swirly chorus tones, and some weird synth tones that sound kinda neat.
