Purchased this to replace 9 month old Panasonic system that refused to work well in a 900 square foot apartment

I followed advice of fellow former VTech owners and bought the slightly more expensive Panasonic

I had a nice Panasonic phone that needed replacing after 5 years of beautiful performance.

Panasonic would only work in apartment if standing with in 10 feet of base unit

A big waste of money pulled out my old ones (11 years old panasonic) and works perfect

I needed a second phone, and possibly I still need one to replace my expensive Panasonic phone

But with cell phones becoming more popular, this phone serves as a capable back-up.

The Vtech was the cheapest and included free shipping, as well as, for a few dollars more, a second phone

It doesn't have a head phone jack, however the phone is very lite weight, as well as has speaker phone as an option for long conversations.

Got it for my mom and it works as you would expect a phone to work.
